Isolated & Strip Footing
The Isolated & Strip Footing module designs spread footings per ACI 318-25 with ASCE 7-22 load combinations. Wizard titles match content/wizard-labels/foundation.json.
Wizard steps (latest UI)
- Step 1: Geometry & Configuration — Footing type (isolated or strip), plan dimensions, thickness, pedestal, support type.
- Step 2: Materials & Reinforcement — Concrete strength, rebar sizes and layout inputs as implemented.
- Step 3: Load Definition (ASCE 7-22) — Factored and service loads, combinations used for strength and service checks.
- Step 4: Design Verification (ACI 318-25) — Bearing, one-way shear, two-way shear, flexure, development length, and related checks with expanded calculation detail.
- Step 5: Visualization — Plan and elevation diagrams and results summary when enabled. Product note: this accordion may be temporarily hidden in the UI while visualization is completed; design verification in Step 4 remains the governing output for submittals.
