Concrete retaining wall design per ACI 318. Free retaining wall design software planned for overturning, sliding, bearing, and stem design. This module is under development.

Problem statement

Retaining wall design will cover: overturning stability, sliding resistance, soil bearing pressure, and stem flexure/shear per ACI 318. Typical applications include residential basement walls, site grading, and bridge abutments.

This module is currently under development. Check back for updates.

Workflow in StructSuite

StructSuite will apply ACI 318 for concrete retaining walls: flexure and shear in stem, bearing under footing, overturning and sliding stability. Geotechnical parameters (soil friction, passive resistance) from report or presumptive values. When released, the module will integrate with the foundation and load combination systems.
