What the calculator includes
- Dead loads built component by component from ASCE 7-22 Table C3.1-1a for a roof, a ceiling, any number of floors, interior and exterior walls, with the whole table to pick from in its own order and categories and thickness-priced items scaled by the thickness entered.
- Light, Typical and Heavy presets for every assembly, a duct allowance for floors and ceilings, and user-defined lines such as rooftop PV, with each assembly's total dead load D in psf.
- Live loads by occupancy from Table 4.3-1, shown in full in the book's order and columns, including the roof live load Lr and the handrail loads of §4.5.1; a Residential preset of eight rows; live-load reduction is not applied, so a reduced live load is entered if one is taken.
- The summary becomes a calculation section of the printed report, first in the default order, and reorders with the dashboard.
