About this video

What you will see

  • Adding the Cover Sheet module from the dashboard
  • The three templates in the left rail: Standard, the city-submission layout with a fixed title block where you edit text and images only; Showcase, a colourful layout carrying the same data in a different arrangement; and Blank, a canvas where you place every element yourself
  • The Sections on this cover sheet checklist, 14 blocks: firm logo, engineering firm, project number, issue date, revision, main title, project address and jurisdiction, owner or client, general notes with code edition and scope, engineer of record, professional stamp, signature, checked by, and the footer line. Hidden sections are omitted when you print or save
  • Editing in place: every text block is typed directly on the page and the fields grow with your text
  • Where the firm logo, professional stamp and signature go, each an image slot on the sheet

The sheet in this example

Standard city-submission template, 8.5 x 11, filled in with fictional sample project details: a title, a project address, an owner and an engineer of record. The signature block is switched off from the 14-item checklist, to show how a block is dropped from the sheet.
